Getting Citrix to Work With Linux

I wanted to write this guide for all those on Linux machines who have to SSH into work.

The workflow at my big company goes like this: you log in, download an ica file (really a text file with a couple of settings), and then this is opened by Citrix Receiver. You download that software on their website.

However, I got a Error 61: You have chosen not to trust the server\'s certificate.

Big companies may require an SSL certificate from Citrix. Error 61 is erroneously documented here by Citrix. None of those listed solutions worked for me.

Instead, I found I had to copy the directory from Firefox into Citrix\'s install path. This presumably has to do with Firefox being my browser that accepts digital certificates.

The command to that is below:

cp -a /usr/share/ca-certificates/mozilla/* /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts/

Then everything worked without a hitch.

Thanks to this outdated post that took ages to find!
